Tupou is a former professional Rugby Union and NRL player who transitioned into technology corporate recruitment before founding SOPS Management — bringing rare commercial expertise and genuine negotiation experience to player management.
Over the past decade, he has built this agency with a clear focus on representing players through genuine, long-term relationships — built on open feedback, trust, and a culture of mentorship.
Tupou has a proven record of guiding players from club footy through to professional contracts, including securing career-best deals for established professionals. He holds accreditation across the NZRPA, RUPA, and the NRL, with established partnerships spanning the wider global rugby market.
His commitment extends beyond contracts. It's the pastoral care, the life planning, and making sure every player has truly maximised their potential — long after the final whistle.
